I cannot stress the importance of “me” time. “Me” time is a time you can do anything During this time you can meditate, read a book, or enjoy a hobby. The important thing is not to be thinking about anything stressful. Do not let your thoughts go to any stress triggers. Take this time alone to recenter your mind. Spending time with yourself even just for 5 minutes can make all the difference in the world. You may be able to take on a new perspective on the situation or prevent stress from taking over your life.
- STOP Caring
Why must we care so much about events that we have no control over? It is a waste of energy!!! This energy could be put more positive channels. Not caring will free you from this stress. Stressing about the situation is creating more issues rather than finding a solution.
After understanding that the outcome is inevitable, you are able come up with a plan of attack. Your plan of attack can allows you to be proactive and have perspective. Perspective allows you to understand and analyze the situation. This, in return, will make you happier and put together.
